2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS Seattle, WA

2018 GLS Capability

Coming standard on the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS is the 4MATIC® all-wheel drive system. This feature allows the 2018 GLS to provide power and torque to the individual wheels that need it most when driving on less-than-ideal surfaces. To further increase control of the vehicle, the 4-wheel AIRMATIC® suspension is capable of adapting to changes in the road and even different cargo loads to ensure you always stay the course comfortably.

No system, regardless of how advanced, can overcome the laws of physics or correct careless driving. Please always wear your seat belt. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Best performance in snow is obtained with winter tires.

On the inside, the 2018 GLS provides seating for up to eight passengers over its three rows of seats. With larger doors, and an advanced EASY ENTRY® second-row seats, getting into and out of the back rows has become easier than ever before. When you need a little extra space for groceries, or anything else you need to haul, simply fold the second or third-row of seats down to experience up to 93.8 cubic feet of cargo capabilities. The 2018 GLS also comes with a standard power liftgate which allows you to carry more bags or boxes in one trip.

2018 GLS Technology

In order to make your drive more convenient, the 2018 GLS features many advanced driver assist technologies that can be displayed right on your instrument display. One of these technologies is the adaptive cruise control feature which is capable of monitoring the road, and adjusting your speed based off of the speed of the vehicle in front of you.

*DISTRONIC® adaptive cruise control is no substitute for active driving involvement. It does not adapt cruising speed in response to stationary objects, nor does it predict the curvature and lane layout of the road ahead or the movement of vehicles ahead.

Those riding in the second and third-row of seats will love the twin flat screens built into the back of the two front seats. Each screen is capable of playing its own movie or video game, and wireless headphones ensures that volume from one video won't interfere with the volume from the other. You won't ever need to worry about someone complaining because they didn't call shotgun fast enough thanks to these innovative screens. In fact, you'll probably notice that your family drives will become more peaceful now that both children can choose what they watch.
